The Flight 93 National Memorial is
located at the crash site of the United
Airlines Flight 93 that was hijacked on
September 11, 2001. The memorial
was made to honor the courageous
passengers and crew who stopped the
hijackers from reaching their target. The
Memorial Plaza extends one quarter
of a mile along the crash site of Flight 93.
Located underneath the flight path is
the Wall of Names which is constructed
of white marble. There are 40 marble
stones inscribed with each passenger
and crew member. In 2020, the Tower
of Voices was completed as a dedication
to each victim of Flight 93. The tower
stands 93 feet tall and contains 40 wind
chimes. There is no other chime system
like this in the world. The Visitor Center
features an exhibition that tells the story
of Flight 93 and its heroic passengers
and crew members through artifacts,
multi-media, and interactive exhibits.

The Post-9/11 United States Armed Forces
Memorial is at Patriot Park, 6150 Lincoln
Hwy in Stoystown, PA. Features and
displays at Patriot Park are designed to
remember the fallen, honor all veterans
who have served, and inspire patriotism.
The Park is located within the legislative
boundaries of the Flight 93 National
Memorial on Lincoln Highway. Patriot Park
is a perfect place to remember and honor
the sacrifices of our Military service men
and women as well as their families. The
Field of Heroes at Patriot Park, where over
7000 flags are displayed, was created to
specifically remember and honor those
who never made it home. The Names
of the Fallen Display contains the names
and information of each of these heroes.
Currently, the Park is open from spring to
Veterans Day each year. It is our goal to
build a permanent Memorial that will be
open year-round to educate the public
about the sacrifices made by our Post9/11 military members and families.
